What We Do

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe’s successes continue to build recognition and deepen relationships with the general public, municipalities and Federal and Provincial Government. The Tribe has received the Joint Venture Business of the Year Award from the BC Aboriginal Business Achievement Foundation as well as the Aboriginal Business of the Year Award from the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce.

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Limited (TTML)

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Limited (TTML) manages the Tribe’s limited partnerships, oversees an extensive number of cultural, economic, and business initiatives, and operates in a manner that respects the values, traditions, and objectives of the Tribe. TTML supports healthy Tribe communities, language, and culture through its Sponsorship Program. TTML is a member of the S’ólh Téméxw Stewardship Alliance (STSA), an alliance of Stó:lō First Nations, and the Collaborative Stewardship Forum (CSF). Our offices are located at Stó:lō Nation on Vedder Road in Chilliwack, BC.

As a General Partner entity, TTML engages in consulting services for neighbouring communities and work and/or provides services to external companies such as Stó:lō Research Resource & Management Center (SRRMC), People of the Rivers Referral Office (PRRO), Probyn Log Ltd. and others. TTML sponsors community events and emergency relief efforts and offers a sponsorship program to Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe members.

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Limited Partnership (TTLP)

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Limited Partnership (TTLP) is responsible for projects such as Land Use Planning, Economic Development, and Natural Resource Stewardship as well as project negotiations and land acquisition.

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Governing Council (TTGC)

Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Governing Council (TTGC), incorporated in 2021, manages Aboriginal Rights & Title related matters and agreements within our Traditional Territory.

Ts’elxwéyeqw Forestry Limited Partnership (TFLP)

Ts’elxwéyeqw Forestry Limited Partnership (TFLP) which holds the Tribe’s Forestry Licenses and sustainably manages Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe’s forestry activities.  TFLP provides communities with log donations and annual firewood donations. 

Ch-ihl-kway-uhk Forestry Limited Partnership (CFLP)

Ch-ihl-kway-uhk Forestry Limited Partnership (CFLP) which includes Kwaw-Kwaw-Apilt and Skwah First Nation from the Pel’olxw (Pil’alt) Tribe.  CFLP has a small woodlot in the Chilliwack Valley which sees harvesting and operations occurring every 2-3 years.

Centre Creek Limited Partnership (CCLP)

Centre Creek Limited Partnership (CCLP), which also includes Kwaw-Kwaw-Apilt and Skwah First Nation from the Pel’olxw (Pil’alt) Tribe, owns the Centre Creek Property in the Chilliwack River Valley. 

Ch-ihl-kway-uhk Tribe Society (CTS)

Ch-ihl-kway-uhk Tribe Society (CTS) includes Kwaw-Kwaw-Apilt and Skwah First Nation from the Pel’olxw (Pil’alt) Tribe and manages the Grass Reserve (IR15).

In 2011, Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe Management Limited (TTML) was created to steward the Tribe’s Traditional Territory (outside of assigned reserve land) and advance the wellbeing of current and future Ts’elxwéyeqw generations. TTML is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of Leadership from each of the seven Ts’elxwéyeqw Tribe communities.

  • Holds, leases and manages property.
  • Investigates options for property development.
  • Also includes Kwaw-Kwaw-Apilt and Skwah First Nation from the Pil’alt Tribe.
